How to create an Emergency Boot Disk
To create a basic startup disk follow the following steps
Find a blank floppy diskette. Also, be sure that you have your Windows installation CD on hand, in case it is needed.
Go to Start menu and select Settings/Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, double click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
In the Add/Remove Programs utility click the Startup Disk tab, then click the Create Disk button. (You may be asked to insert your Windows CD).
When asked, insert the blank floppy diskette into the drive.
