How to Set Up Entourage for Mac OS X to Send and Receive Email
  1. Open Entourage.
  2. In the First name field, type your first name.
  3. In the Last name field, type your last name.
  4. Click the right arrow button.

  5. Click the right arrow button.

  6. Click the right arrow button.

  7. Click the I want to start using Entourage without importing anything radio button in the What do you want to import? area.
  8. Click the right arrow button.

  9. Check the box next to Enable Junk Mail Filter.
  10. Click the right arrow button.

  11. In the Your name field, type your name.
  12. Click the right arrow button.

  13. Select I already have an email address I'd like to use.
  14. In the E-mail Address field, type your entire email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  15. Click the right arrow button.

  16. Click the arrow box on the My incoming mail server is a(n) pop-up list and choose POP.
  17. In the Incoming mail server field, type mail.yourdomain.com
  18. In the Outgoing (SMTP) mail server field, type mail.yourdomain.com.
  19. Click the right arrow button.


  20. In the Account ID field, type your entire email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  21. In the Password field, type your email password.

    Note: The user name and password are case sensitive. Make sure that Caps Lock is OFF!

  22. Check the box next to Save password in my Mac OS keychainif you wish to have your password saved.
  23. Click the right arrow button.

  24. In the Account name field, type your entire email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  25. Check the box next to Include this account in my Send & Receive All schedule.
  26. Click the Finish button.

  27. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.

  28. Select your mail account in the list.

  29. Click the Click here for advanced sending options button.

  30. Check the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.
  31. Click the radio button in the Log on using area.
  32. In the Account ID field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  33. In the Password field, type your password.
  34. Check the box next to Save password in my Mac OS keychain.
  35. Click the OK button.
