How to Set Up Outlook 2002 to Send and Receive Email
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook.


  2. From the Tools menu, choose E-Mail Accounts.

  3. Select Add a new e-mail account.
  4. Click the Next button.


  5. Select POP3.
  6. Click the Next button.


  7. In the Your Name field, type your name.
  8. In the E-mail Address field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  9. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) field, type mail.yourdomain.com.
  10. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, type mail.yourdomain.com
  11. In the User Name field, type your full email address (e.g., johndoe@yourdomain.com).
  12. In the Password field, type your email password.
  13. Click the More Settings button.


  14. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
  15. Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  16. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

  17. Click on the Advanced tab.
  18. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field type 2525.
  19. Click the OK button.

  20. Click the Next button.


  21. Click the Finish button.
